Like so many couples, Jacquie and Greg’s wedding suffered the ups and down of COVID-19. They decided to postpone their big wedding and reception and elope on the beach in Carlsbad, Ca. They rented the cutest beach house right on the ocean to spend their wedding weekend.
What started out as a sunny California day, turned into a hurricane as soon as the outdoor beach ceremony began. Greg and Jacquie had already been through COVID, a little rain was no big deal!
Following the ceremony was an intimate reception dinner which was originally on the outdoor patio at Vigilucci’s, an italian seafood and steakhouse overlooking the ocean…but the hurricane that rolled in unexpectedly forced them to move the intimate reception indoors. Greg and Jacquie even had a place for Ryan and I to sit and we had the most amazing four course dinner with wine! We laughed, ate and drank and their friends and family shared memories and well wishes for the couple. And even though almost nothing went to their plan, I whole heartedly believe this was one of the most special and memorable weddings we’ve ever seen. 10/10 recommend!
